Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold food quality standards
• Manage food preparation and kitchen activities, including cooking, food handling, and food production to ensure freshness and safety
• Oversee POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages or waste
• Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations and maintain a clean environment
• Assist in interviewing, onboarding, and developing staff to build a strong, capable team aligned with our hospitality values
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest experiences
• Support budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs and managing resources efficiently during your shift

Skills

• Proven experience in food service management, including supervising teams in quick service or fast food restaurants
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety standards
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for transactions and reporting
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, and performance management
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling procedures confidently
• Background in hospitality management or restaurant experience with a focus on customer service excellence
• Skilled in inventory control, food management, and kitchen operations within casual dining or fine dining environments
• Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates, training staff, and coordinating with team members
• Capable of managing shift responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment
• Knowledge of budgeting principles related to labor costs, food costs, and overall restaurant operations
