Reporting to the CFO, this leadership role requires a strategic partner to the CFO, executive team, and the extended leadership team, driving the overall financial strategy and performance management framework for OpenTable. This role requires exceptional executive presence, deep financial expertise, and a proven track record of leading high‑performing teams.

  • Provide executive financial leadership and counsel to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team on critical business decisions, performance drivers, and capital allocation strategies.
  • Oversee and direct the preparation of sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate new business ventures, M&A opportunities, and growth initiatives, ensuring robust data‑driven decision-making.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of high‑impact presentations and reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors, offering clear visibility into financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, tools, and processes (e.g., Pigment, OneStream), establishing a best‑in‑class FP&A function for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the entire FP&A team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
  • Partner cross‑functionally at the executive level (e.g., with Marketing, Product, Sales) to manage organizational resources and align financial objectives with company priorities.
Please apply if you have:
  • 10‑15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting, including a minimum of 5 years leading a global or large‑scale FP&A function.
  • Exceptional executive‑level presentation and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence strategic outcomes across the organization.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and advanced financial planning tools (e.g., Pigment, OneStream).
  • Proven track record of building, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing finance teams, driving accountability and superior results.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic business partner to C‑level executives.
  • A focus on accuracy and timely delivery, and are detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Proactive, problem‑solving approach, continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, a growth mindset, and a self‑starter mentality.
Benefits and Perks
  • Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year
  • Focus on mental health and well‑being:
    • Company‑paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth
    • Company‑paid subscription to Headspace
  • Annual company‑wide week off a year – the whole team fully recharges (and returns without a pile‑up of work!)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Generous paid vacation + time off for your birthday
  • Focus on your career growth:
    • Development Dollars
    • Leadership development
    • Access to thousands of on‑demand e‑learnings
  • Travel discounts
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Free lunch 5 days per week
  • Beautiful office in the Empire State Building with lots of building amenities, such as a gym, multi‑purpose room, in‑building Starbucks, and more.
Inclusion

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive. We know the best ideas come when we bring different voices to the table, so we're building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants we serve—and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
